Photo & Media Consent
At Minety RFC we celebrate the achievements and enjoyment of our players by sharing photos and videos from training, matches, and club events. These images help promote the club, keep parents informed, and encourage more young people to get involved in rugby.
We are committed to safeguarding our players and will always use images responsibly and in line with the RFU safeguarding guidelines.
How photos and videos may be used
On the official Minety RFC website.
On the club’s official social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram).
In newsletters, posters, or other club publications.
Occasionally in local press or rugby development materials.
Our approach
We will never include full names of children alongside their images without additional consent.
Images will show players appropriately dressed and involved in rugby activity.
We will never use photos for commercial purposes without seeking further consent.
Withdrawing consent
If you give consent but later change your mind, you can withdraw it at any time. Please contact the Club Safeguarding Officer (using the contact form) and we will stop using your child’s image from that point forward.
Your choice matters
Giving consent is completely voluntary. If you choose not to, your child will still be fully included in all activities — we will simply ensure they are not identifiable in any shared photos or videos.
👉 At the end of the Spond registration form, parents can simply tick:
✅ Yes, I consent to my child’s images being used by Minety RFC in line with the above policy.
❌ No, I do not consent.
